Well I was a cavalry officer at the end of the cold war and a consultant expert to thr MOD thereafter.

I suspect that many of them can quickly become (say) Chinese. Thr regime now can't negotiate as that would be to admit failure. Better to hunker down and wait for Amaria to run out of missiles...

A direct and fresh account of the situation, free from zealotry which has infected the MSM reportage.

I wonder if the proposal to disable a proportion of the Iran VLCC fleet - via interdiction than physically holing the vessels as per the Venezuela event - really would force Iran to negotiate?
