I don't think that will total £150 Bn of government spending.... much of net zero cost goes on energy bills so is paid by consumer, not government

Well, a very well thought out article as usual.

The answer to the question: Yes.

What to give up?

DEI.

Net Zero, including wind mills and CCP glass.

Endless immigration with no strategy.

BBC - time for it to become independent, which BBC World already is.

Paying off 3rd parties for railway rolling stock.

Paying off water companies who do not spend on the network.

Paying off airport companies who over charge airlines.

Deleting Ofgem, Ofwat and Ofcom.

Stopping Dame Hallettt's court room drama (we know the answer she wants already: '1 week earlier').

Too many on the take - and that's before the reparations brigade get a penny.
